Despite its reasonable length, the 12th is the toughest par four on the back nine. The safe option is to aim towards the left fairway bunker, which leaves a mid-to-short iron left to the green. Cutting the corner with a high fade is only for the bravest, but will be rewarded with a significantly easier approach. The putting surface is well protected by bunkers in the front and a runoff at the back. Pay special attention to the pin placement, as there is a steep hill in the middle of the green, making diagonal putting very difficult if the pin is tucked at the back of either side.
